Evaluation of Dermoscopic Features in Cutaneous Leishmaniasis

Background: Cutaneous leishmaniasis is infectious protozoan disease. Dermoscopy noninvasive diagnostic tool used to diagnose variety of skin disorders, such as infestations. Aim work: To determine dermoscopic features cutaneous & relate it with clinical findings. Patient and Methods: This study was conducted on 40 males age range 21-28 years. between March 2021 October 2021. Clinical examination CL lesions done assess specific criteria. Results: We noticed next features: background erythema (one hundred percent), yellow tears (75%), yellowish hue (42.5%), hemorrhagic spots (30%), central crustation (65%), white starburst-like pattern (20%), scar-like patch (15%), milia-like cyst (15%) change in the vascular structure like comma-shaped vessels (5%), linear irregular (62.5%), dotted hairpin (17.5%) glomerular-like (20%). Conclusions: Dermoscopic can be cooperative diagnosis CL.
